I have been volunteering my design and tech skills with Lulu's Rescue since 2013. Lulu's Rescue is a 501c3 all-breed inclusive dog rescue whose mission is to end the daily killing of thousands of adoptable dogs in the US and to break the cycle of homelessness through spay/neuter outreach, humane education, and rescue efforts.
I have used my entire catalog of skills working with Lulu's! I redesigned and restructured their old WordPress website and e-commerce. I added the functionality to a new SquareSpace website developed by another volunteer and brought it live. I maintain the website, the adoption database, and I troubleshoot email issues for volunteers. I have organized fundraising events and provided live music for many of them.
The director of Lulu's has an excellent design sense and we have worked together countless times to create a recognizable brand, create impactful graphics and newsletters, and present adoptable dogs in a meaningful and memorable way.
